Norvik Banka was established on April 29, 1992, under the name LATEKO BANKA. The Bank is offering its services to a wide range of clients — from private individuals to international industrial enterprises. In 2006, when the Bank attracted a strategic investor, it also obtained its new name. As a result, now 51% of the Bank's equity is held by the company Straumborg ehf., represented by Jon Helgi Gudmundson — the owner of a large international company NORVIK hf.
